A video posted on social media shows the removal of the nude Donald Trump statue that was placed in Union Square, New York City, on Thursday (August 18).

Art collective ”INDECLINE” claimed responsibility for erecting the statue, entitled ”The Emperor Has No Balls”.

The video shows NYC park officials driving away with the statue face-down in the back of the truck, with the crowd heard jeering in the background.

Alexandra Svokos, the bystander who filmed the video said that the platform on which the statue had been mounted ”had to be removed by NYC officials using shovels.”

Mae Ferguson, a Parks Department spokeswoman, said the statue was removed because the installation of any unapproved structure is illegal in any city park.
